Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms apply to Orbitem Corp websites, products, and publications, including SoMe, BossAI, DottedLine, and content on orbitem.com. By using any of them, you agree to these Terms and, where a product has them, that product’s community or acceptable-use rules.

2. Who we are

Orbitem Corp builds software and publishes writing. Current offerings:

SoMe — white-label social media you can run as your own network
BossAI — AI-powered campaign and management tools
DottedLine — civic coordination for public campaigns, local civic work, private groups, and places
Publications — essays, reports, and other writing

Individual products may have extra in-app rules. Those rules add to these Terms; they do not replace them.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or a product’s rules.

You must be 18 or older to use Orbitem SMS (see §7) and to create a DottedLine account that uses phone verification.

4. DottedLine

DottedLine helps people create, share, and collect support on civic and private asks. It is not an official government filing unless we say so for a specific jurisdiction.

You are responsible for petitions, posts, and other content you create
You may not use DottedLine for spam, hate speech, impersonation, or illegal activity
Verified signatures require email and phone verification
Delivery features generate export packages (PDF/CSV) and send them to recipients you specify. We do not guarantee that recipients will act
We may suspend petitions or accounts that violate our policies. Moderation is logged

5. SoMe, BossAI, and publications

SoMe and BossAI are provided for the uses described on orbitem.com and in each product. You may not use them to break the law, abuse other people, or interfere with our systems.

Publications on orbitem.com are for information. They are not legal, medical, or investment advice unless we say otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You may not probe, disrupt, or overload our systems; scrape or copy our products in a way that harms other users or our operations; misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or use an Orbitem product to send unsolicited bulk messages.

7. SMS messaging (DottedLine)

Orbitem currently operates one SMS program: Orbitem Corp for DottedLine. It sends one-time passcodes so you can verify the phone number on your DottedLine account and confirm a new device. SoMe, BossAI, and publications do not send SMS under this program.

Public description and opt-in checkbox: SMS program

Opt-Out. Text STOP to the number that texted you. We will send one confirmation; after that you will not receive further SMS from this program. To join again, opt in the same way you did the first time.

Carrier Liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message Frequency and Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Questions about your wireless plan belong with your carrier.

Privacy. Privacy Policy

Age Restriction. You must be 18 or older to use this SMS service. By providing your number and requesting a code, you confirm you are at least 18.

Re-Enrollment. After STOP, opt in again in DottedLine the same way you did the first time (Verify phone, unchecked SMS checkbox, then Send code). There is no keyword opt-in. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Limitation of liability

Orbitem products and publications are provided “as is.” We are not liable for outcomes of petitions, campaigns, or actions taken by government officials, customers, or other users.
